About Our Charity
The Metro Milwaukee Firefighters Hockey Club's origin was simply a group of firefighters who had experience playing hockey and participated in an annual "Battle of the Badges" hockey game. This annual showdown being against the Milwaukee area police officers who share the love of hockey. After 17 years, it was decided that there was more to be done with this event. Watching the community come out and support this event, the team knew that the best thing to do with the proceeds was to give back. With this in mind, the Metro Milwaukee Firefighters Hockey Club was officially established in 2020.
With the goal in mind of caring for the community, the Metro Milwaukee Firefighters Hockey Club strives to improve the lives of those in need after experiencing loss and tragedy as a result of a fire. Continue reading to learn more about who we are and what we do for our Milwaukee neighbors!

For firefighters, there are plenty of ways to help out on your off time. One of the more impactful ways is by committing to becoming a Metro Milwaukee Firefighters Hockey Club member. Come out and skate with us every week and help raise funds to give back to families in need. Stay active, make friends and network within the public service community, and become a part of an organization that strives to assist those who have fallen victim to tragedy.
